My mind has hanged so much lately. I don’t let anything go or put anything pass anyone. I’m not being negative, I’m just trying to take all the negativity out of my life. If It’s not benefiting me in the future or making me a better person, then it has to leave. I need people and things around me that motivate me to do better. Only I can make myself happy, and it starts with the choices I make. I want to be a positive person, and leave good vibes to everyone I come across, why can’t I ask the same from others? Am I wrong for thinking this?
A Better You Equals A Better Life
I’m really trying to better myself inside and out, so I can have positive energy around me. When I feel good about myself, I tend to go out and do more things. I feel like anything is possible, and I can do whatever I want to do. It’s a great feeling. So lately I’ve been going to the gym, trying to get fit. It’s giving me a certain vibe that I’m digging. I feel happier, despite whatever is going on in my life. I’m still optimistic on finding a job. It’s coming soon! I know it. Till then, I’m going to better myself, so I can be prepared for anything that could happen.
Nice Girls Finish Last
I’ve come to the conclusion that you can’t be nice to everyone, especially if they’re not nice to you. I’ve experienced my first “Real World” job (interview I would call it) and it wasn’t a pretty one. I know there’s a difference between getting an internship and getting a real job to start your career, but I didn’t think the interview process was that different. Maybe I just came across the wrong asshole. No more nice me. I came in this world to make something of myself and I will do just that. Anyone in my way will get a nice little push to clear my path. I have to go after what I want, no matter who brings me down and tells me I can’t do it. This is my first learning experience, and I will make use of it.
Sorry I had to vent. 😒
Back to having a positive, productive day!
10 Days til Graduation
The days are starting to go so fast. At first it was taking too long, now I don’t want it to come. I’m finally graduating College, the biggest accomplishment of my life (so far). What to do next? I was thinking about this yesterday, and the first thing that came to my head was “It was all a dream”, popular line from Notorious BiG. I don’t know why that came to me, but it’s true. It was all a dream. The moment I thought about coming to University of Miami, I didn’t think I was going to get in. To be honest, the only reason I applied is because I had a crush on a football player that went there. I seem him on TV one time during a game and I told myself I had to meet him! Funny thing is, I never met him. I do thank him though, because if it wasn’t for him, I would never decided to come to Miami and begin the life I now started. Crazy how things happen. I am a true believer of what’s meant to happen, will happen. So now I’m jut counting down the days. Working out, trying to look good for my graduation, and summer of course. To be continued…
Introduction
Sooo, my rundown is…I am graduating from the University of Miami in May and I don’t know where to go from there. I’m wondering if I’m ready for the real world, the job, the family, the life. I know that I’m excited to experience it, I just don’t know if its going to be a positive one. What and where do I want to be in life? I see myself as an entrepreneur, but doesn’t everybody? No really, I have so many ideas in my head of how I’m going to make a living. So far, I have four great ideas. Well, I think they’re great ideas. I’m making them my four goals in life. Each goal helps me obtain the next. Anyway, long story short, I am going to be writing about my journey to reaching my goals, and becoming a brand. My long-term goal is to make myself a known brand. I’m all about public relations, and the importance of your image. So I’m going to express the typical day in the life of a goal oriented, college graduate, who has no idea where to start but everywhere to go. Did I mention I have no job? Nope, I don’t have one of those. My first step is to get one during the summer. I’m a part-time bartender, and a full-time public relations technician. (if anyone was wondering).
P.S. I also thought I’d talk about the everyday crazy stuff that goes on in my life. I’m trying to better myself, so don’t judge. 🙂
